In March of 2023, Databook launched their new positioning titled "The Strategic Relationship Management Platform" or SRM. This new rhetoric is centered around their comprehensive suite of sales tools and algorithms which identify possible new leads, gather relevant information, and create a strategic playbook for its users in the blink of an eye. This allows sales teams to reach that first discovery call fully equiped with useful information in a fraction of the time. Less time spent on research and qualifying leads allows them to focus on the most important aspect of the sales process, building a human connection with their customers.

The new Databook brand puts this concept of human connection front and center through the use of direct eye-contact portraits. Bold, all-caps headline typography compliments the visual weight of these photos. The intensity of these elements are offset by geometric, thin–line illustrations that are used to create “strategy diagrams”. These illustrations, inspired by the strategic insights and playbooks generated by the product, can be used large or small. They can be seen anchoring layouts, providing visual interest and spatial deptch, and visualizing concepts and data in a unique and own-able way.
